Matt Lyman is a North Idaho native. He grew up in Moscow, Idaho where both of his parents were on the faculty at the University of Idaho.
Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1992 from The Pennsylvania State University and quickly moved back to the Pacific Northwest.
After over 16 years with Smith Barney, Matt and his team made the move to Merrill Lynch in 2011. They focus on providing personalized investment advice and planning for a select group of high net worth individuals and corporations. Matt holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
Matt has served on numerous boards and organizations in the community including; The Coeur d'Alene Rotary Foundation Board of Directors, The Coeur d'alene Rotary Board of Directors, past President for Coeur d'Alene Rotary, The Lakeshore Property Owners Association, The Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy founding Board Member, Chamber of Commerce Commodore, Hospice of North Idaho Cabinet Member, Vice President Highland Village HOA. Past Board Member of the EXCEL Foundation.
Matt is married and has four daughters. All of his girls are very involved in sports, including soccer, volleyball, and anything outdoors.
Matt's hobbies include: hunting, fly fishing, golfing, boating and watching his daughters' sporting events.
